As the unemployment rate in Malaysia are increasing at an alarming stage, this study is attempted to find out what are the factors that will influence the intention of women to do online business.
The revolution on the internet has enabled everyone to reach a large consumer population easily. The internet has become the catalyst for the online businesses to be successful and can take hold of a large market share through internet. The economic growths have growth and can be seen significantly from the online business or the e-commerce. The data collected from the Statistics Department showed that e-commerce contribution to Malaysia’s gross domestic product (GDP) had increased to 6.1 per cent or 74.6 billion in 2016 compared to 5.9 per cent or 68.3 billion in 2015.
